Previous Information:
Award: Dissertation research grant awards are available for up to $5,000 each. The principal investigator must be a registered nurse (RN) enrolled in a PhD program, actively pursuing a career in some aspect of cancer patient care, education or research.  The funding period is for two years.

Purpose: Grants designed to support oncology nursing research for PhD dissertations.

Selection Criteria:

  • Funding preference is given to projects that addresses the ONS Research Priorities and/or the ONS Research Agenda.
  • Membership in ONS is not required for eligibility.
